What tariffs do the following questions relate to?

Please note, all the information provided in our FAQs relates to the network tariffs that TasNetworks charges the customer’s retailer for their use of the network - not the retail tariffs that appear on the electricity bill you receive from your retailer. To understand the retail tariffs available to you, please contact your energy retailer.

Does TasNetworks offer vehicle to grid / home in Tasmania

    • TasNetworks will support any new electric vehicle to grid (V2G) connections. In order to be connected to grid, V2G charger should have completed the necessary Australian compliance assessment (including AS 4777)
    • TasNetworks will need to assess the connection based on the inverter capacity output and its impact on the grid similar to any other embedded generator connections including residential batteries.
    • Please note: there may be limitations on the output to the grid depending on the grid supply capacity.
