At TasNetworks, we're committed to powering a bright future for all Tasmanians. Through our annual Community Grants Program, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the areas we serve, addressing social and environmental challenges in innovative ways.
Powering a Bright Future: We understand that resilient communities are built through collaborative efforts. That's why our Community Grants Program is designed to support initiatives that bolster community resilience and tackle the rising cost-of-living pressures faced by many Tasmanians.
Your opportunity to make a difference: Does your organisation have an inspiring project idea that can contribute to building community resilience or alleviating cost of living pressures? The TasNetworks Community Grants Program offers funding of up to $10,000 for projects that align with these focus areas.
Selection criteria: To be considered for a TasNetworks Community Grant, applicants must demonstrate that their initiative will directly benefit the community by delivering projects which are aimed at reducing cost-of-living pressures and/or increasing community resilience.
We’ll consider applications that are:
From incorporated entities or ACNC registered charities.
Delivering projects in Tasmania.
Aimed at reducing cost-of-living pressures or increasing community resilience.
Applications we won’t consider:
Initiatives outside of Tasmania.
Provision of free or discounted electrical infrastructure, electricity, or any other core product.
Initiatives with poor safety and/or environmental performance.
Any project, event or organisations that could be inconsistent with our vision or role in the Tasmanian community.
Individual, or fundraising campaigns.
For profit, or unincorporated entities.
How do I apply?
Applications are now closed for the 2024 grant funding round. Keep an eye out for funding opportunities in 2025.
