Bright Futures Fund - Independent Community Assessment Panel - Expressions of Interest
This page is under construction
TasNetworks is delivering the North West Transmission Developments (NWTD) project - a once-in-a-generation upgrade to Tasmania’s electricity transmission network that will support growing energy demand and unlock new renewable energy opportunities across the state.
As part of this project, TasNetworks has committed $10 million to establish the Bright Futures Fund (BFF), designed to leave a positive and lasting legacy for communities impacted by stage one of the project.
In anticipation of the Fund launching soon, we are now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from community members to join the BFF Independent Community Assessment Panel, helping review funding applications and shape investment decisions that deliver meaningful benefits for local communities.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
Live or work within one of the five local government areas within the NWTD project area (Burnie City, Central Coast, Kentish, Northern Midlands or Meander Valley Council)
Not be currently employed by local, state or federal government
Have access to appropriate technology and internet connectivity to participate in online activities
Be available to attend in-person meetings within any of the five local government areas.
Inclusive Participation We are committed to giving all applicants equal opportunity to participate in this panel, including providing support and resources to remove barriers that may prevent or hinder participation.
