RAC submission to AER on Revised Proposal

Members of the Reset Advisory Committee (RAC) have independently authored a submission to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER), evaluating TasNetworks' Revised Proposal for the 2024-2029 regulatory control period.

The submission can be downloaded from the AER's website and covers the following key areas:

  • Customer benefits
  • Bill impacts/affordability/bill relief
  • Capital expenditure
  • Contingent projects
  • Customer priorities
  • Operational expenditure
  • Regulatory framework
  • Revenue
  • Renewables.

This submission was one of a total of 13 made to the AER by stakeholders regarding the Revised Proposal, and was made as part of the final public consultation before the AER releases its Draft Decision in April 2024.
